Today I was searching through Google under Saab. I was surprised to see some of the claims in experience. Locally, some establishments are calling themselves Saab Dealers, Master Technicians and other accolades that seem to stretch the truth some…o.k. a lot. It troubles me to read this information knowing what the Saab community needs right now. They need a source for real documented experience, OEM, used and aftermarket parts & fair pricing plus an explanation of failures. They need someone who has the connections to track down and get parts. Although New Salem Saab closed its doors, Albany Saab Shop carried forward some excellent employees and real Saab people. We bought all the special tools they had as well as carried the experience and education over to the new entity.
Literally 15 mins from the Central Ave location, 18 mins from downtown Schenectady and 15 mins from the Hill-towns, Albany Speed Shop and Albany Saab Shop interestingly is located in a prime spot.
